Linz in the 20th Century

The purpose of the project "Linz in the 20th Century", which was launched by a City Council meeting decision in 2003, is to examine the political, social, economic and cultural development of the city. Comprehensive research papers on these topics will be published before 2009. A particular emphasis of the project will also be to assemble volumes of photographs, however. Drawing on existing collections of photographs, these will document events in the city. The first volume of these "Linz-Pictures" is now available.
